Bat Choker
It doesn’t get much more statement piece that a real bat choker necklace. Made from a Java pipistrellus bat by Scenic City Oddities, this curious and gorgeous wearable art features a taxidermy bat attached to a black lace necklace with intricate chain and beading adornments.
Found in South and Southeast Asia, the Java pipistrelle is a type of fruit bat that tends to live near human habitations. It’s also harvested as a food source in these areas, particularly Indonesia.
