Vampire hunting kits have been around for centuries and are associated with folklore, superstition, and pop culture stories, probably more so with Bram Stoker’s Dracula than recent interpretations… dare we say Twilight. These kits typically contain a variety of items that are believed to be effective in warding off or killing vampires, such as garlic, holy water, crosses, and wooden stakes.

The range in quality here is massive. In other words, these kits can get cheap and cheesy real quick. On the other end of the spectrum are exquisitely crafted and highly collectible works of art. We’re sharing the most curious and impressive of these offerings, including a beautiful shadowbox composition and vampire slayer kit from Denver-based Art of Curiosity Studio (pictured above). Art of Curiosity has several really amazing vampire hunting kits, including one that glows in the dark!

Whether seen as a piece of art, a quirky conversation starter, or a genuine tool for protection, vampire hunting kits continue to hold a special place in our culture and imagination.
