Just take a look at this fantastically unique and meticulously crafted mixed media fine art piece by critically-acclaimed and award-winning visual and musical artist Adam Watts.

All of Watts’ pieces are exquisitely hand-created with thoughtful intention and often incorporate rare antiques.

The piece shown here is titled “A Study of Fortitude” and is a mixed media fine art piece utilizing an early 20th-century autopsy table and an ethically-sourced bovine backbone. Antique magnifying glasses dot the spine, allowing for up-close inspection of the bone’s tiny cracks and age.

If all that isn’t cool enough, the entire piece is self-lit using a combination of antique lighting fixtures and LEDs that are outfitted with control mechanisms.

A truly stunning piece, and we can’t wait to see more creations from Adam in the future.
