Hanging Cynopterus Brachyotis Bat

The Hanging Cynopterus brachyotis bat is an intriguing creature that captivates both nature enthusiasts and bat researchers alike.

This unique plant-loving species, also known as the Short-nosed Fruit Bat, can be found predominantly in the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. They have long heads and jaws with large eyes and feed on fruits and flowers. They hang out (quite literally) in trees, roosting in small groups, and also like caves.

This specimen offered for sale by licensed importers and taxidermy artists, Fine Arts Aflutter, is a genuinely real bat from East Java Indonesia. Be sure to check out their expansive collection of taxidermy bats, flying frogs, and other creepy-crawly weirdness.
