A Brisbane, Australia-based rat rescuer is offering the cremains of saved rodents as a way to respect and memorialize them after death.

Rattus Richie who also sells some other unique rat and rodent finds, including artwork, works directly with a rat rescue that has a “life after death” policy. Once rats pass away, they are often provided to vets and educators, but those that remain are cremated and shared with those who might want to give them a second home in the afterlife.

These cremains are to be purchased by those who will treat them with respect, and they come in a varity of containers that range from domes to vials and pendants that are between 2.5cm to 4cm or just shy of 1 inch to 1.5 inches in length.
