Owls tend to swallow their food whole, leaving their prey largely intact and largely undigested which they later hork up into an owl pellet. It’s a fascinating (and admittedly sort of gross) aspect of their biology, one which I’m glad we humans don’t share. This unusual characteristic also makes for a curious opportunity to study the anatomy of their prey.

Kats Bug Boutique is offering the opportunity to do just that with its Premium Owl Dissection Kit. This kit has everything you need for examining the insides of a barn owl pellet, with two dry heat-sterilized owl pellets also included. Extra owl pellets are also available for purchase should you have a whole group or curious nature lovers.
