It’s pretty interesting what artists from around the world are doing with taxidermy, mummification, and dry preservation methods today. We’ve already written an entire article dedicated to Taxidermy Mice, which shows many adorable vermin embodying pop culture icons such as Edward Scissorhands and the Joker, just to name a few.

Today we’re sharing the gorgeous work of Toddities AP, a Kenosha, Wisconsin-based maker of dry-preserved dioramas that are meticulously crafted using real animal specimens in various incredible setups. There are Chinese Water Dragons rocking it out on a guitar, sledding on a winter holiday, and kayaking on a wild blue stream. And that’s just them getting started.

These creations open a whole new door within the ever-curious world of miniatures, and we can’t wait to see what they make next.
